Private comission for the personalisation of a kayak.

The colored shapes evolve into organic forms that evoke natural elements such as waves, mountains or island tips. They are combined with archetypes of built enviromment in a geometric representation reminding of temples, arches, bridges, staircases and column ruins.

Imagined as a floating landscape-cityscape mirrored in the water, the hand painted composition is an abstract represnetation of the meditterenean imagery reproduced through memory.
